What is Mixed Methods?

Mixed methods have become very popular in recent years and QDATRAINING now finds itself training and consulting in disciplines that were traditionally quantitative methods orientated. Our experience in the workshops suggests that people frequently think of mixed methods as two parallel processes rather than a truly integrated approach (including integrated data) resulting in one set of findings.

John Creswell recently posted a lovely fifteen minute YouTube presentation on this topic and we will be recommending it to people we train who are embarking on a mixed methods study.
