I'm trying to run a text search query which looks for exact text. In Nvivo help, it says all I have to do in enclose the text I want to search for in inverted commas. However, this doesn't work: e.g. when I type in "are you meaning", I get all source with the word "meaning" (it proably has the other words in there too, but they are not in the order I want them. Help gratefully received. Thanks, Mairead
Hi Mairead,
First of all apologies for the delayed response as we were not notified of your post due to an error on our server. Are you using double inverted commas? Single inverted commas will not work as it will not limit the search to the exact phrase. Let me know if this response addresses your enquiry?
Kind regards,
