Tagged: License renewal
Dear QDA,
I’m on the R1 student version (Release 1.7.1) of NVivo which is due to expire next week. (I paid for this version last year as I wanted to work on the latest version; I’m an independent researcher). So I’m hoping Lumivero will email soon so I can renew R1, but I wanted to ask a couple of questions:
Q1. I don’t think (from what I read on forums) it’s possible to renew the version of R1 I’m using. I think I would be given the latest/next version. Is that correct?
Q2. Should I let my current license expire before proceeding to install a new license? Or is it better to deactivate the current licence, say the day before, and then proceed with the new license? Asking about this as I worry about my project. (My project is backed up regularly).
Thank you in advance for your advice. Kind regards, Debra Elliott.
