This is Aloisia Shemdoe who arrived at our training centre from Tanzania today! She left African heat last Monday to arrive for her training today and it's her first time to visit Europe having never left her native continent before. She really picked her week to try out Dublin weather. Her colleague, who was travelling from Scotland, was snow bound but nothing could stop Aloisia. She asked me to take this picture outside the training centre as it is the first time she ever stood in snow. I threw a snowball at her so she can add being in her first snow fight to her NVivo training experiences in Ireland.

Aloisia is a social scientist and full time researcher in Dar es Salaam and is hoping to commence a PhD study in the near future. That is if she ever warms up again!
